We can now accept donations of £10 and over from individuals under the gift aid scheme.
This means that Cranleigh Lions Club can reclaim basic rate tax on gifts made to the Cranleigh Lions Club Charity Trust Fund.
Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this means that if you give £10 using gift aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the Lions.
Also, until the 5 April 2011 the Lions will get a separate government supplement of three pence on every pound you give.
