Cranleigh Lions Club President Brian Walpole and Classic Car Show Chairman Michael Meek, recently presented Colin Stokes, Chairman of The Prostate Project with a cheque for £2,500 from money raised at the 2011 Classic Car Show.

The star of the photograph is a 1913 Model A Velocette motorcycle, seen with its rider Tim Simkins and the rest of the presentation group.

Brian Walpole was pleased that the success of this year’s Classic Car Show made this donation possible. Colin Stokes was delighted to receive the £2,500, which he said would bring the total money so far donated for the building of a new Urological centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, to just short of half a million pounds.
